Original banner designs for Will of the Wind are by artist Julie Joens-Poulton of the Fawn & Lily Design Studio of California. Her lovely designs evoke harmony, restfulness and a calm mood. The fabric used gives a colorful stained glass effect when light shines through the banners, creating the appearance of changing colors as lighting conditions change. The beautiful designs are appliquéd to one side only and the back of each is "finished to perfection" making it possible to hang your banner where both sides will be seen. Most include varnished wooden dowels included in the price. All banners are made of 100% nylon flag oxford, a strong and sturdy waterproof, fade-resistant fabric. Appliqués are meticulously satin-stitched in matching thread. Each banner arrives complete with varnished wooden dowels and dowel caps, as well as an attached hanging cord in gold or black nylon. You will be able to display your new luxurious banner indoors or outdoors as soon as it arrives. Pennant flag banners are ready to display as well, but do not include dowels since the style is to hang the flags on cording, which is provided. The banners can be gently hand washed, line dried, and ironed on lowest nylon setting.
